Fundraising Events

In addition to the Annual Fund, EB hosts two important fundraising events during the year: the Gala & Auction and the Move-a-Thon. These events allow parents and students to contribute in varied ways, while providing fun and community bonding experiences! Read on to learn more about these events and how you can make a difference by getting involved.

Gala & Auction

The Gala & Auction is our largest fundraising event of the year, providing vital funds to support EB's tuition assistance program. This adult-only, evening event is held at an off-site venue, typically a country club or hotel. We start the evening with a cocktail-style reception and Silent Auction, followed by a sit-down dinner and Live Auction. There are multiple ways to participate, including via games, special raffles, a dedicated Fund for the Future paddle raise, teacher support, and more!

At the end of the evening, we hold a dance party! It's a wonderful time to mingle, meet folks and have fun, all while supporting EB families. We hope you'll join us for this fun night out with friends! All funds raised go towards supporting our tuition assistance program.

At EB, we're always looking for parent participation — whether that's becoming an individual or company sponsor, donating an auction item (ie a weekend house or count-me-in party hosted by you!), or purchasing an auction angel ticket to support teacher attendance. Move-a-thon

Started in 2018, this student-centered fundraiser is geared towards health and an appreciation for being outside—kids are the main drivers of their experience and are introduced to the concept of S.T.A.R.S = Spirit, Teamwork, Attitude, Respect and Support. Everyone is encouraged to participate and move in any way that fits their lifestyle and ability!

During the month-long lead up to the event, students create individual fundraising pages to share with their family friends, neighbors, and coaches to help them reach their goal. Each classroom can also work together to reach a collective goal to help the "fun"draising go further: participation is what's most important!

A portion of the proceeds are used to enhance the physical outdoor space in our school campus, whether that means buying more PE equipment, installing a climbing wall, or investing in outdoor furniture for kids.
