Le Camp d'Été is an extension program of Ecole Bilingue de Berkeley, offering a dynamic and engaging Preschool to (rising) G6 summer camp experience. Designed to inspire curiosity, confidence, and creativity, our camp welcomes all children no prior exposure to French is required!

This summer, Ecole Bilingue de Berkeley is thrilled to offer an exciting, dynamic, and creativity-filled camp experience, featuring partnerships with Get Empowered, Tinker Tech and ANTS Sports to bring an unforgettable mix of arts, music, movement, sports, STEM, and cultural exploration. Campers will have the opportunity to engage in interactive activities that inspire self-expression, teamwork, and confidence.

Extended Care:  3:00 PM - 6:00 PM (extra fee, no AM care)

About the Camp

Camp Staff

Our camp is staffed by highly qualified counselors who are either native French speakers or have a strong mastery of the language. They bring extensive experience in teaching and working with children, ensuring a high-quality and engaging experience for all campers. 

Our Enrichment Team includes experienced and passionate educators: Mariana Guzman, Howard Feight, Christopher Colebourn, Joe Parreira, Mercedes Portillo, Jano Porter, Jareli Solis, Angelica Bowlin, Jazmin Gonzalez Flores, Meggie Cansler-Ness, Micha Turner, Danielle Briones, Guadalupe Rivera, Monique Harris, and additional staffing as needed.

Fun in the Sun
Outdoor games, water play, and summer fun!
Week 2
Space Exploration
Astronomy activities, space crafts, and cosmic adventures!
Week 3
The Great Outdoors
Nature exploration, scavenger hunts, and outdoor survival skills!
Week 4
Superhero Week
Dress up, hero training, and community kindness projects!
Week 5
Under the Sea
Marine life exploration, water experiments, and ocean-themed crafts!
Week 6
Time Travelers
Exploring ancient civilizations, dinosaurs, and futuristic inventions!
Week 7
Camp Carnival
Games, performances, and a fun-filled celebration!
 

Camp Partners

Get Empowered
Through our Get Empowered program, children will embark on a journey of rhythm, creativity, and leadership development. They will explore drumming, beatboxing, songwriting, and musical theatre, as well as diverse dance styles such as Hip-Hop, Afro-Latin, Tap, Ballet, and Capoeira. The arts will come alive through global crafts, mural painting, graffiti, origami, bookmaking, and mixed media projects. Campers will also participate in mindfulness, yoga, Zumba, and fitness fun, helping them recharge their minds and bodies while embracing movement and self-expression. Leadership and teamwork will be woven into every experience, ensuring that every child leaves feeling empowered, inspired, and ready to take on new challenges.

ANTS Sports
In ANTS Sports, Sports Explorer class, this high-energy program is designed to keep campers active, engaged, and excited about physical movement. Kids will develop skills in basketball, soccer, flag football, tennis, agility games, and team challenges while improving coordination, sportsmanship, and teamwork. More than just an introduction to sports, this program emphasizes personal growth, leadership, and confidence-building in a supportive environment. Whether learning a new skill, making friends, or just having fun, every child will leave feeling strong, motivated, and empowered. 

Tinker Tech
In our  Tinker Tech class, campers will explore science, engineering, and technology through engaging tinkering, building, and problem-solving projects, fostering creativity and innovation.

These programs run alongside the immersion camp, allowing campers to join daily.
