Belong in the World
Ecole Bilingue de Berkeley is a preschool-8th grade bilingual immersion school where students learn in French and English.

Every day our students learn to speak, write, and think in two languages, becoming open-minded, adaptable learners who discover their best selves while respecting the differences of others.

WE BELIEVE THAT WHEN STUDENTS SEE THE WORLD WITHOUT BORDERS OR BARRIERS, THEY CAN CONFIDENTLY AND CAPABLY SEIZE ANY OPPORTUNITY.

Because when students are equipped with that boundless perspective, they belong anywhere in the world.

Experiential Learning

When students learn about a place by immersing themselves within it, they become more than simply bystanders; they are bilingual participants in the world, locally and globally, and know they belong anywhere.

    PEN: Educational Therapist (VIRTUAL)

Join LDSG's upcoming panel discussion covering the topic of how Educational Therapists for neuro-diverse students might help improve a student's educational journey.  Our panel will feature credentialed Educational Therapists who help students at various stages of their academic journey. This panel will give parents of neuro-diverse students an opportunity to get a 360 view of how this tool might work for them. This discussion will be led by EB’s SST Coordinator  Bénédicte Cambon-Ritter. Panelists include licensed therapists Julie Stoner, Stephanie Scholar, and Kersten Goldsmith. Eco-Elders Swap Meet

It's time to get ready for EB's Spring Swap Meet, brought to you by the Eco-Elders!

It will be held on Tuesday, April 25 from 3:15-5:30pm in the LS Multipurpose Room.

    Here's how it works:
    • Take a moment over the next few weeks to go through your closets to find what you're ready to say good bye to and send off to a new home!
    • Bring those treasures - remember all clean, in working condition and gently used - along to the meet.  We'll help organize and lay them out.
    • Join in the fun of exploring all the offerings and finding new treasures to take home!  It's all free and you don't even need to bring anything to participate.

    What you can bring:
    • Clothes (adults and children)
    • EB Spirit-wear
    • Sporting clothes and goods
    • Toys and puzzles
    • Small household and kitchen items

    Please remember:
    • Everything should be clean, in working condition and only gently used.
    • Please limit to approximately two shopping bags worth.
    • You may drop things off beforehand at the Lower School Multipurpose Room starting from Wednesday morning, April 24.

Remember, you don't need to bring anything to participate so pop by regardless to check it out when you're picking up your child!

Note: All items remaining after the meet will be donated to Goodwill or similar.

This event is sponsored by EB's Eco-Elders in an effort to enable us to all live more sustainably. For questions or if you'd like to volunteer to help out, please contact Emma Gimon (emma@gimon.org).
